Cole Pinnow is an American pharmaceutical executive based in Kirkland, Québec.
Pinnow was awarded a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as well as a Master’s degree in Microbiology from Iowa State University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Olaf College in Minnesota.
Pinnow is the President of Pfizer Canada. He was promoted to this position on January 23, 2020.[1]
Before his appointment, Mr. Pinnow was the Canada Lead for Pfizer’s hospital business. Prior to joining the Canadian organization in 2018, Cole was Vice President and Lead of Pfizer’s alternate site organization with responsibility for the Pfizer essential health business in the U.S. nonacute market.
Before Pfizer’s acquisition of Hospira, he served as the Vice President of global pharmaceuticals with responsibility for Hospira’s biosimilars, sterile injectables and proprietary products and served as the executive chair of important strategic partnerships.
Pinnow participated as a co-chair of the COVID-19 Recovery Leadership Council convened by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in February 2021.[2]
On November 23, 2021, Pinnow was elected as Chair of the Board of Directors for Innovative Medicines Canada.[3]
