Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. is an American politician currently serving as the 46th President of the United States. He is the father of Hunter Biden, Ashley Biden and Beau Biden, and husband of Jill Biden.
¶ History
Biden visited a facility run by blood testing company Theranos on July 23, 2015.[1] The laboratory setup was entirely staged for the photo op.[2]
¶ 2020 presidential election
On October 25, 2019, Biden published a statement on Twitter warning that President Donald Trump had “rolled back progress” on strengthening global health security made by him and President Barack Obama, leaving the United States “not prepared for a pandemic.”[3][4]
¶ Presidency
In a televised address given on September 9, 2021, Biden said of "unvaccinated" Americans, “your refusal [to get vaccinated] has cost all of us.” Addressing the vaccinated, he went on to say “I understand your anger at those who haven't gotten vaccinated.”[5]
On July 12, 2022, a judge granted a request for discovery in a lawsuit against the Joe Biden administration and various social media companies in response to their widespread censorship of dissident voices on topics including COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2 and Hunter Biden's laptop.[6]
In November 2022 and January 2023, it was reported that documents marked as “classified” were discovered in offices used by Biden following his tenure as Vice President.[7] The first batch was discovered in a locker at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement on November 2, 2022, “days before the midterm elections.”[8]
On July 20, 2023, Republican Senator Chuck Grassley released a previously-top-secret witness form from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) which described Burisma Holdings founder Mykola Zlochevsky's $5,000,000 payments to both then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, in exchange for the firing of Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.[9][10]
On September 5, 2023, Indivisible Action endorsed Joe Biden in his 2024 presidential re-election bid.[11]
