¶ American Values 2024

American Values 2024, previously the People’s Pharma Movement, is a non-profit organization composed of a political action committee (PAC) and a Super PAC based in New York City. It was formed to support Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s 2024 presidential run.[1]
¶ History
The organization was formed in 2022 as the People’s Pharma Movement with an initial $500,000 contribution from Mark Gorton.[2] It endorsed a number of candidates for the 2022 midterm elections including Blake Masters, Rand Paul, Ron Johnson, Eric Schmitt, Mehmet Oz, Ted Budd, Adam Laxalt, JD Vance and Marco Rubio.[3]
On June 4, 2023, American Values 2024 launched a newsletter on Substack titled The Kennedy Beacon.[4]
On June 21, 2023, American Values 2024 revealed that EIN Presswire declined to distribute a press release announcing the launch of the Super PAC.[5][6][7]
On July 3, 2023, American Values 2024 announced that it had raised $10.25 million from a mix of Republicans and Democrats.[2:1]
On July 6, 2023, Super PAC co-chairman Mark Gorton announced the formal launch of The Kennedy Beacon.[8]
On July 17, 2023, The Kennedy Beacon published an article by Jeffrey Sachs describing the timeline of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.[9]
On July 20, 2023, The Kennedy Beacon published an article by Douglas Macgregor, a retired Colonel in the United States Army, advocating against the United States' continued engagement in foreign wars over the wellbeing of Americans.[10]
On July 21, 2023, Co-chairman Tony Lyons announced that the Super PAC had raised $15 million, including $5 million during Kennedy's testimony in front of the House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.[11]
