The College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) is a regulatory body for the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
On October 1, 2021, the CPSBC issued a statement warning that registered health care practitioners "must not provide care that does not meet the expected standards of their profession" by prescribing ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID-19. The statement was co-authored by Provincial Health Officer Bonnie Henry, Bob Nakagawa of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia and Cynthia Johansen of the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals.[1]
