Toronto Innovation Acceleration Partners (TIAP) is a Canadian not-for-profit organization based in Toronto, Ontario. It was previously known as MaRS Innovation.
TIAP was founded in 2008 under the named MaRS Innovation as a partnership between MaRS Discovery District and a number of universities and research institutes in Toronto.[1] Early funding came from the Government of Canada through the Centres of Excellence for Commercialization and Research (CECR) program.[2]
