The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is an American government agency within the United States Department of Defense.
¶ History
DTRA was officially founded October 1, 1998.[1]
In 2008, DTRA awarded Black & Veatch a five-year Biological Threat Reduction Integrating Contract (BTRIC) for work in Ukraine alongside the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS) and the State Committee of Veterinary Medicine.[2]
