The University of Southern California (USC) is an American private research university based in Los Angeles, California.
In 2020 and 2021, USC required students and staff to use the USC Trojan-Check app in order to access campus. This involved completing daily "symptom checks", and in 2021, providing "proof of vaccination" with COVID-19 vaccines as a vaccine passport.[1]
USC is a member of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO)[2] and the Consortium of Universities for Global Health.[3] It is a partner of Osage University Partners (OUP).[4]
USC has received grant funding from Good Ventures on recommendation from Open Philanthropy.[5]
