Sudden adult death syndrome (SADS), also known as sudden arrhythmic death syndrome, is a catch-all diagnosis used to describe the sudden death of a relatively young person after other causes have been ruled out. It generally refers to "a cardiac arrest when the heart rapidly stomps pumping, and the body loses heart function, breathing, and consciousness."[1]
The following is a list of people whose sudden deaths were reported without a clear cause of death, with or without specifically invoking SADS. Inclusion on this list does not imply conclusive assertion of what caused their deaths.
