The Poynter Institute is an American non-profit organization based in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Poynter hosts the Craig Newmark Center for Ethics and Leadership and three “fact-checking” platforms: International Fact-Checking Network, PolitiFact and MediaWise.[1]
