WatersMark is an American real estate development company registered in Delaware. It is the master developer for the Haitian island of Île-à-Vache.[1] It is affiliated with Arambys and Community Champions.[2][3][4]
¶ History
Waters Mark Development and Consortium LLC was incorporated on March 28, 2005 in Florida.[5] Waters Mark Development Enterprises LC was incorporated in Florida on June 13, 2005.[6]
Waters Mark Fine Imports, LLC was incorporated on August 23, 2005 in Florida.[7]
On January 13, 2006, Waters Mark Development Enterprises LC changed its name to Merritt Island Development, LLC.[6:1] In 2006, Waters Mark purchased land in Brevard County, Florida "with plans to develop a 90-unit residential subdivision covering approximately 97 acres of the Property." Waters Mark eventually abandoned this first attempt to develop the property.[8]
Waters Mark North Merritt Island Corp. was incorporated on January 18, 2006 in Florida.[9]
Waters Mark Plantation Homeowners Association, Inc. was incorporated on March 8, 2006 in Florida.[10] Waters Mark NC LLC was incorporated on August 1, 2006 in Florida.[11] Waters Mark Development & Consortium Inc. was incorporated in Florida on December 13, 2006.[12]
WatersMark Alabama LLC was incorporated in Florida on March 19, 2007.[13] Waters Mark Estates Home Owners Association Inc. was incorporated in Florida on July 19, 2007.[14] The following day, Waters Mark International Development Corp. was incorporated in Florida.[15]
Waters Mark Development LLC was incorporated on November 14, 2008 in Delaware.[16]
¶ Arambys
On May 31, 2013, Arambys Corp. was incorporated in relation to a WatersMark project in Morocco.[17]
In November 2015, WatersMark submitted an unsolicited proposal to the Canaveral Port Authority to build a $275 million resort at Port Canaveral in Florida, tentatively called "WatersMark ... A Port Canaveral Resort."[18] Port Authority commissioners turned down the proposal later that month, citing direct conflict with other pre-approved construction projects.[19]
WatersMark LTD was incorporated in Wyoming on October 29, 2018 with Brent Woodson as President.[20]
WatersMark S.A. was incorporated in Delaware on February 21, 2019,[21] and WatersMark Inc. was incorporated in Utah on July 9, 2020.[22] WatersMark Works LLC was incorporated in Florida on April 20, 2021.[23] WatersMark Foundation L3C was incorporated in Wyoming on May 4, 2021.[24]
On August 1, 2022, Eco Allies announced it had secured a joint venture agreement with WatersMark to bring their proprietary "SuperGreenTrees" to Île-à-Vache.[1:1]
WatersMark Philanthropies was incorporated in Wyoming on January 2, 2023.[25]
